A Little ‘Bad Romance’ Goes a Long Way…

October 2, 2010

Hamline's own Leah Barton (bottom left) '13, Katie Pike (center) '13, and Ben Honda (bottom right) '13 are "Sophomore Gaga" in last night's annual Lip Sync Competition.

Hamline’s Annual Lip Sync Competition was held last night, Friday, Octobter 1st in Sundin Music Hall. Let’s just say that, even though I’m slightly biased, it was a BLAST! The night started off right with the audience gettting “Rick Rolled” by Sophomore Piper, Eric Siegel. He had everyone laughing. There was everything from Disney songs and musicals, to rock and pop hits.

Sophomore Gaga took home the first place prize, a well-deserved victory if I do say so myself…and I do. If anyone is to argue, you just have to ask the crowd who cheered “Gaga! Gaga!” while the judges were deciding. If you missed out on the lip sync competition this year, be sure to check it out next year. If you want to perform but are too nervous…get over it, it’s totally worth it 🙂 If you just want to watch, sweet, go, it’s awesome.

Anyway, hope homecoming weekend is going well for everyone! Dance it up tonight!

Until next time,

Mikaela 🙂
